Poor water quality from the land poses a serious threat to our Great Barrier Reef. CSIRO are working with communities and grazing land owners to improve the land by reducing erosion and sediment  that is carried out to the reef. We followed Rangeland Ecologist, Brett Abbot, and Senior Instrumentation Specialist, Aaron Hawdon, as they collect data and samples on several locations throughout the Burdekin region.
